Calling all South African youth between the ages of 18-35. Join us in learning more about monitoring the health of your local rivers. 🤞💧💦 This river health assessment course is easy-to-understand and super fun to do. The best part? Anyone can do it! The course is designed for everyone to learn how to monitor river health through using the mini Stream Assessment Scoring System. You do not need to be a scientist to do this course and the assessments. You just need a bit of time and to be interested in river health.

This is a youth-focussed initiative funded by UNICEF and the Department of Science and Innovation and works toward encouraging river health focused career paths. Anyone above 35 and/or non-South African are still encouraged to participate in this course as you will still earn a completion certificate, but just not be eligible for the Zlto rewards 🔖🏅. The short course has 7 opportunities in the series, each building on the one before.
