**About ADDA:** 
The [African Drone and Data Academy](https://adda.cired.vt.edu/) ([adda.cired.vt.edu/](https://adda.cired.vt.edu/)), launched by UNICEF in 2020, is a leading centre of excellence empowering African youth with hands-on skills in drone technology, data science, and digital innovation. ADDA offers world-class training developed with Virginia Tech, enabling learners to build and fly drones, conduct aerial surveys, and analyse imagery for real-world impact—from precision agriculture to disaster response. 🌍🛩️ With over 2,000 graduates and high employment across Sub-Saharan Africa, ADDA is shaping a new generation of drone pilots and data analysts.

**Eligibility Requirements:** 
📍 Applications are open to eligible youth from across Lesotho. Please note that accommodation/lodging will not be provided. Participants travelling from outside Maseru will be responsible for arranging and covering their own accommodation and transport during the training.  

🎓 Completed high school diploma, completed or enrolled in first level of tertiary education, bachelor’s degree in any relevant field like Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Data Science, or any other STEM related discipline. 
🌐 Digital Literacy 
⏳ Available for 2 weeks full-time in-person in Roma and Mazenod 
🎯 Aged 18–25 years 
🔥 Passionate, motivated, and eager to learn
