###### This **World Cleanup Day on 20 September**, young people aged **16–30 across Uganda** are invited to take action for cleaner communities and a healthier planet. 🌍🧹♻️

###### You can take part **on your own, with friends, with your community, or as part of an organised cleanup**. You can also organise your own cleanup or simply clean up an area in your community independently.&#x20;

###### Your challenge is simple: **collect at least waste weighing 10 kg and make sure it is taken to an official or authorised collection or disposal point.**

###### You could clean up a **street, neighbourhood, beach, park, school, community space, or any other area that needs attention.** However you choose to participate, your action can make a difference.

###### **🧹♻️ STEP 2: CLEAN UP & DISPOSE RESPONSIBLY**

###### **Your mission is simple: 🧹 Collect at least one 10 kg waste bag. ♻️ Dispose of it responsibly.**

##### **🛡️ Stay Safe**

###### 🧤 Wear gloves and closed shoes.

###### ⚠️ Do not touch sharp, hazardous or unknown waste.

###### 💚 Avoid unsafe areas and put your safety first.

###### 👥 If possible, clean up with others and follow any local safety guidance.

##### **📸 How to take part**

###### **1. 🧹 Take action**&#xA;Join an organised cleanup, organise your own cleanup with others, or clean up an area on your own.

###### **2. ♻️ Collect & dispose**&#xA;Collect the waste you find and fill **at least one waste bag weighing 10 kg**. Take the bag to an **official or authorised collection or disposal point** and follow the instructions provided for sorting or disposal.

###### **3. 📸 Capture your action**&#xA;Take a clear photo showing at least a **10 kg waste bag collected**

###### **4. 📲 Upload your evidence**&#xA;Come back to this opportunity on Yoma, click **“Upload your Completion File”** and upload your photo evidence.

###### **5. 🚀 Submit**&#xA;Click **“Submit”** to complete the challenge and get recognised for your contribution by earning a credential.
