**VOTANTE: Ethical and Informed Youth Participation Seminar-Workshop for BSKE 2026** 🗳️✨ is a youth-powered civic education initiative that tackles low electoral literacy and strengthens values-based leadership among senior high school students in Zamboanga City. With the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, the project equips first-time voters with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed for responsible and informed civic participation. 💡

The program will engage senior high school students through whole day seminar-workshops 🎓🔥 that combine civic education, leadership formation, and participatory learning. Through interactive sessions, open discussions, and reflection activities 💬🧠, participants will better understand democratic processes, ethical leadership, and their role as empowered voters.

A standout feature of the project is the creation of the **SK Ideal Leader Checklist** ✅🌟—a youth-driven framework that sets standards for transparent, accountable, and values-based leadership. This gives young people a real voice in defining what good governance looks like and encourages them to take part in shaping their communities 🙌🏽🏘️.

* Increase electoral literacy and understanding of the Sangguniang Kabataan among 160 students 🗳️📚

* Co-create one (1) SK Ideal Leader Checklist reflecting youth-defined leadership standards ✅✨
