The **DonateWater Project** aims to improve access to clean and safe drinking water in rural communities across Nigeria with a Focus in **Kano State**. By crowdsourcing data on water sources, quality, and drought risks, the project empowers decision-makers with accurate information to design sustainable solutions. This initiative will reduce the burden on women and children who spend long hours fetching water and help prevent waterborne diseases caused by unsafe sources.&#x20;



##### **Who Can Join / Eligibility:**

Young people **aged 15 – 35**

* Volunteers passionate about **climate action, water, and community development**
* Students, community youth, and changemakers in Nigeria

No prior experience is needed, just a smartphone and willingness to take part!

##### **How to Join:**

1. **Take Action** – Visit a water source in your community (stream, borehole, well, tap, etc.).
2. **Snap a Photo** – 📸 Take a clear picture showing the water source.
3. **Upload on Goodwall app**
4. **Submit** – 🚀 Your contribution adds to Nigeria’s first large-scale clean water data map.
