###### **🛠️ Your Role Will Include...** 🏛️ Strengthening Municipal Institutions:

###### Co-create Municipal Institutional Development Plans (MIDPs) for counties that are growing fast 🏙️

###### Design a Practical Manual 📝 to guide counties through setting up strong, inclusive, and sustainable institutions

###### Advise officials on how to form and manage cooperation platforms (think: multi-stakeholder forums, public-private setups 🤝, and resident groups 🧑‍🤝‍🧑)

###### Develop and refine governance frameworks and ensure counties are following Kenya’s legal service mandates ✅&#xA;🎯 Boosting Local Capacity:

###### Lead needs assessments 📊 across areas like procurement, planning, environmental safeguards 🌿, and financial management 💵

###### Design a Capacity Development Strategy that makes staff smarter, faster, and more confident

###### Deliver exciting, hands-on training sessions 🧑‍🏫 on critical topics like private sector partnerships, land management, and gender & youth inclusion 👩‍👧‍👦

###### Support materials development 📚 and organize workshops that help towns grow smarter, greener, and more inclusive 🌍✨

###### **🎓 Are You the Right Fit?**&#xA;If you’ve got the brains 🧠, heart 💛, and experience to uplift Kenya’s municipalities, you’re halfway there. Here's what UN-Habitat is looking for:

###### 📘 Master’s Degree in Public Admin, Strategic Management, Governance, or Development Studies (Bachelor’s + 2 yrs also works)

###### 🛠️ 5+ years designing institutional dev plans (at least 2 big wins under your belt!)

###### 💬 Experience working with public orgs, global institutions, or projects backed by development banks (World Bank = a big plus)

###### 📈 Skills in risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and Kenyan public systems

###### ✔️ Must be registered with a relevant professional association&#xA;🗣️ Language Vibes:&#xA;Fluent English? ✅

###### Bonus if you speak another UN language
