The Africa CDC Biomanufacturing Fellowship program aims to address the shortage of skilled biomanufacturing professionals in Africa. 👨‍🔬👩‍🔬 The program offers a unique opportunity for individuals working in active biomanufacturing companies to enhance their skills and contribute to the continent's vaccine production goals. 💉
Eligibility:
\- Master's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Biochemical Engineering. 🎓
\- Citizen of an African Union Member State with an active vaccine manufacturing company. 🌍
\- Valid passport and willingness to commit to both virtual and in-person training. ✈
\- Ability to obtain leave of absence from your employer and submit a support letter. 📝
Selection Process:
\- Applications are reviewed by a committee, and only five candidates will be selected. 🏆
\- The selected candidates will be notified by June 15, 2025. 🗓
Program Duration:
\- The program will run from July 2025 to June 2027. 📅
Benefits:
\- Financial support for daily expenses, travel, health insurance, laptop, internet, visa fees, and post-fellowship allowance. 💰
