Develop & Execute Grantmaking Strategy (70%)
\* Craft a region-specific strategy focused on systems change. 🏗
\* Manage a growing portfolio of grants, supporting local organizations. 🤝
\* Evaluate grant proposals and recommend funding to the Board. 📊
\* Be a primary contact for grantees, ensuring their success. 🏆

External Relationship Building and Leadership (30%)
\* Cultivate strong relationships with grantees, funders, researchers, policymakers, and other education/gender equality actors. 🤝
\* Represent Echidna Giving and champion adolescent life skills. 📣

Requirements:

\* 12+ years of experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles. 💼
\* Deep knowledge of Adolescent Life Skills and East African education. 🧠
\* Experience in NGOs, government, or philanthropy. 🤝
\* Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills. 📊 🗣
\* Ability to work independently and in teams. 💪
\* High emotional intelligence and flexibility. ✨

Preferred:

\* Strong networks in East Africa, especially Tanzania, Uganda, or Kenya. 🤝
\* Experience in gender-transformative education and leadership development. 👩‍🏫
