Maybe it's how you learned photography online or connected with a friend on the other side of the world. Whatever your story — 📸 **Giga Photo Contest 2025: The Joy of Connection** wants to see it through your lens!

Organized by **Giga** – a joint initiative by UNICEF & ITU – this **first-ever global photo contest** invites young photographers, content creators, and storytellers to submit images that capture how **internet connectivity changes lives**. Whether you're a pro or just passionate about telling stories through pictures, you're welcome here.

🗓️ **Submission Period:** April 1st to April 30th, 2025
🎯 **Theme:** “The Joy of Connection”
📍 **Where:** Online submission via Picter
💸 **Entry Fee:** FREE

🧭 **User Journey:**

1. **Discover** the opportunity on the Giga Photo Festival page or social media.
2. **Register** on Picter during April 1–30, 2025.
3. **Choose a category**:
   * **Single Image**
   * **Junior Visual Storyteller** (for younger photographers)
   * **Multiple Images/Photo Story**
4. **Submit your work** following the guidelines.
5. **Wait for judging** on ***May 6–7, 2025*** by a global jury in Geneva.
6. **Winners Announced** on Giga’s social media and website! 🎉
7. **Win cash prizes**, get mentored, and see your work featured globally.
