Are you passionate about education data and system strengthening? UNICEF Nigeria is looking for an International Education Data Consultant to provide technical expertise in leading Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) interventions at the federal and state levels.

**About the Role:**
As an Education Data Consultant, you will collaborate with the Federal and State Ministries of Education to implement digital EMIS solutions, analyze data, and ensure smooth adoption at the state level. You will also support Jigawa State in developing an integrated EMIS system to track student attendance, teacher records, and out-of-school children mapping.

**What You'll Do:**
✅ Conduct a rapid needs assessment of education data systems in selected states.
✅ Oversee the rollout of EMIS and ensure data collection from the Annual School Census (ASC).
✅ Provide technical assistance to integrate education data, including teacher management systems (TMIS).
✅ Develop recommendations for a student attendance monitoring system.
✅ Train and coach state education officers to maintain and manage EMIS independently.
✅ Ensure alignment with government policies and avoid duplication of education data systems.

**What You Need to Apply:**

✔ Advanced degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or Business Administration.
✔ 8+ years of experience working with education systems and data monitoring.
✔ Strong knowledge of EMIS, data analytics, and education sector planning.
✔ Experience in training and coaching government officials on education data systems.
✔ Prior experience with UNICEF, Ministries of Education, or international firms is an advantage.
✔ Fluency in English; knowledge of a local language is a plus.
